We are actively seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Business administration assistant, contributing to the administrative operations of a vibrant social enterprise. Our enterprise is dedicated to providing services, including social and digital solutions, to local communities and SMEs. Our primary focus is on supporting groups such as Black ethnic minorities, women, young people (16-24 years old), migrant families, and those experiencing digital exclusion.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess adaptability, a solution-oriented mindset, exceptional organisational skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong desire to learn. Given that the role involves contributing to various exciting projects simultaneously, the individual should demonstrate effective multitasking capabilities.

Roles and responsibilities

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Maintaining Organised Records and Databases: Ensuring accuracy and confidentiality while managing records and databases efficiently.
  2. Coordinating Meetings, Appointments, and Events: Optimizing the executive’s time by organizing and coordinating various engagements skillfully.
  3. Assisting in Report and Document Generation: Contributing to the precision-driven creation of reports, presentations, and documents.
  4. Researching Various Topics: Providing valuable insights by conducting thorough research to support decision-making and project development.
  5. Collaborating for Operational Efficiency: Working closely with colleagues and different departments to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  6. Ensuring Legal Compliance: Responsible for ensuring the social enterprise complies with relevant laws and regulations.

  1. Ability to Work Independently and in a Team: Demonstrating flexibility to work alone or collaboratively within a team.
  2. Competency in Google Workspace: Proficiency in utilizing Google Workspace tools for seamless communication and collaboration.

  4. Knowledge of International Business: Having a basic understanding of international business, currencies, and relevant regulations.
